A dropshipping one-product store selling a pet brush lint remover. I redesigned the original store to give it a professional, conversion-focused look and a smoother shopping experience.

Overview

 

Bruntoco arrived with a cluttered, low-trust storefront that confused visitors and created friction at checkout. I redesigned the store with a clean visual hierarchy, product-first hero, clear trust signals, and a simplified purchase flow. Everything was done with Shopify, Photoshop, Canva and AI

 

Research & User Insights

  • User Research: Quick surveys and session reviews identified where visitors dropped off and what information they needed to decide.

  • Conversion Analysis: Evaluated product page flow, CTA placement, and pricing clarity to reduce friction and abandonment.

  • Mobile-First Focus: With a majority of visitors on mobile, we prioritized touch targets, compressed imagery, and a compact layout for faster interactions.

     

Problem Statement:

  • Product benefits were unclear at first view, causing hesitation.

  • Inconsistent branding and a noisy layout reduced perceived quality and trust.

  • Slow image loading and poor mobile layout added friction during checkout.

     

Design Goals:

  • Deliver a clean, trustworthy storefront that communicates the pet brush’s benefits within the first viewport.

  • Reduce clicks-to-checkout by simplifying product information and clarifying the purchase path.

  • Improve perceived product quality through consistent branding, strong imagery, and clear guarantees.

     

Key Deliverables & Improvements:

  • Polished Visual Identity: New layout, consistent typography, and a product-first hero that communicates value immediately.

  • Streamlined Product Pages: Clear CTAs, concise benefit bullets, simplified variants, and fast-loading images.

  • Performance Optimizations: Image compression, lazy loading, and front-end tweaks for faster mobile speeds.

  • Trust Enhancements: Added trust badges, money-back guarantee messaging, and social proof sections to boost buyer confidence.

  • Simplified Checkout Flow: Reduced unnecessary steps and clarified shipping/returns information to lower cart abandonment.
